SURREY

Surrey is situated in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada, just south of the Fraser River. Families, individuals, and corporations go to our city. More than 100 different languages are spoken by our diverse community, and our expanding city adds around 1,000 new inhabitants each month. In addition, Surrey is a young city, with one-third of its residents being under the age of 19.

Located in Metro Vancouver, the City of Surrey is a municipality. With more over 500,000 residents, we are the second-largest city in the province. Our population is expected to surpass Vancouver’s by 2041, making us the biggest city in British ColumbiaSince early 2019.

Several Neighbourhood Community Plans that seemed to have stalled have now regained momentum and seem poised for approval. Redwood Heights, Grandview Heights Area 3, Guildford, and West Clayton have all made tremendous progress and have local developers excited about the future of the city.
