ABOUT DELTA

There are about 100,000 people living in Delta. We take pleasure in both our sustainable future and our rich history. In addition to a hospital, an airport, a museum, archives, libraries, sports facilities, and a variety of cycling and walking routes, Delta is home to parks along the Fraser River, Boundary Bay, and the Strait of Georgia.

The 180 square kilometer Delta is bounded on the north by the Fraser River, the south by the United States border and Boundary Bay, the east by the City of Surrey, and the west by the Strait of Georgia.

Residents appreciate calm, clean, and safe neighborhoods, while companies find the area to be a desirable location due to the community’s consistent prosperity. The projected average household income in Delta is 30% greater than the national average. One of Greater Vancouver’s fastest-growing industrial sectors is located in the municipality.

Delta has developed into three prosperous communities: Ladner, Tsawwassen, and North Delta, all supported by a solid farming and agricultural basis. We are a thriving municipality with rich soil, water, history, industry, and most importantly, rich people.
